Ilana Zablozki-Amir, MD, is the co-founder of UPstream-Health, an initiative that gives people the tools and resources to advocate for and navigate their health concerns. She holds board certifications in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Integrative-Holistic Medicine, is fellowship-trained in Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine, is a certified Functional Medicine practitioner, and holds a level 2 Coaching Certificate from Precision Nutrition.
In her practice, Dr. Zablozki-Amir works to shift paradigms—from predominantly medication-focused healthcare to a model where prevention, natural healing options, and self-care play an integral role. As someone who deeply values family and opportunities to enjoy life, her interventions are geared toward helping people sustain the health and strength they need to provide and be available for their families and to enjoy the things they most like to do.
“The one thing that I make time for every day is “downtime”—this may be going outside to feel the warm sun, watching a TV show on Netflix with my son (currently Glee), exploring and trying new nutritious recipes, or even just sitting and thinking about things that make my heart smile.”
