Giulia began studying and practicing yoga to supplement her dance training during her time as a B.F.A Dance major at The Boston Conservatory. Yoga became a natural extension of dance for Giulia, providing a different path to discover more about herself. A few years and injuries later, she expanded how she views and teaches yoga through her pursuit of extensive studies in movement and kinesiology, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. She left the dance and performing world behind, but its knowledge, detail, body awareness, and passion still infuses in her work.

Giulia's desire to grow her teaching through a greater knowledge and understanding of movement, training, and the body led her to complete multiple courses with Threes Physiyoga Method, Gary Ward’s AiM, Functional Anatomy Seminars, Kula Yoga Project, PRI, DNS, and ELDOA.

Her teaching integrates yoga and pranayama (breathing), with corrective exercise, functional mobility work and knowledge from physical therapy. This approach evolves and expands the ways people move and breath, sheds light on how people can create more efficiency and clarity in their use of mind and body, and helps them stay healthful, intentional, and joyful.
